Bah Humug (a venting session)

Not to be all "bah humbug," but... well, bah humbug.  I am not a big holiday season person to begin with, but this holiday season has been just bleh.  Don't get me wrong, i am very excited to see my daughters open their presents from Santa on Christmas morning, and I am very excited for a four day weekend filled with friends and family, but ugh the stress leading up to Christmas just sucks. Too many expectations, too much money spent, too much to DO!  It doesn't help that for the past month, at least one member of my family has been sick at all times. Last week, I was knocked out by a massive head cold for a good five days. It was awful.  It also doesn't help that work is nailing me right now, and I have a huge vacation planned for the first ten days of the year which means approximately 5,987 things on my "to do" list.  In summary: meh.
