Bandwagon

After a two-day blogging hiatus so I could go to my sister's wedding in Oakland (an unbelievably lovely affair, it was magical - honestly!), and spend long leisurely mornings drinking coffee with Maggie and rubbing her cute preggo belly, I am back in business with work wear as usual.  And totally stepping out of my comfort zone by wearing flats!  Although I absolutely love flats and how they look on other lovely ladies (I'm looking at you, Fran!), I always feel like they look off on me somehow.  But this dress is a titch too short to wear with heels (all dresses need to come in "tall" sizes too, right?!), so flats are the only option really.
Ok, now after that rambling first paragraph, I am pleased to report that I actually really like this whole look once I saw it in photograph! Maybe I can hop on this flats-wearing bandwagon for good!

Dress: J.Crew (LOVE this similar option) (another) (and another - I found so many great alternatives! Apparently striped dresses are where it's at!)
Cardigan: J.Crew Factory (similar)
Shoes: Old Navy (similar) (similar)
Belt: came with a dress from Twill (similar)

  1. ha! I wear flats mostly because I'm lazy (because lets be honest, they are comfy!) but I think these look really cute on you and not "weird" ;)

  2. I love you in flats! You've got such nice lean legs you can pull them off without looking stumpy! Embrace the flats my dear!
