Uhh, yeah, so I haven't been posting. Lately, I am the perfect example of feeling ick at work, just a little run-down and not-so-cute. Obviously a good outfit is supposed to cure you from the work doldrums. With that in mind, I'm getting back in the game!

Shirt: Halogen / Skirt: Halogen / Shoes: Michael Kors
This is a new skirt I've been wanting to blog, but haven't figured out how to style it with more than a white shirt. Very much had to have it after seeing the pattern, reminiscent of structured kimonos, without entirely knowing how it would look best. We'll see how I can play around with it. This outfit is apparently 67% Nordstrom.
And I spent the past weekend glamping, so although it is not work-related, here are two looks that still did occur between 9:30 to 5:00. I'm post-cramming here!
Tanks: Forever 21 / Jacket: Forever 21 / Leggings: James Perse / Socks: Hue / Sneaks: Topshop
Sunglasses: Vintage Christian Dior / Purse: Vintage Coach
Early in the day at El Capitan Canyon, I put together an outfit to make the loooong trek down the hill, and up the hill, to breakfast at the one and only cafe for twenty miles.
Later, that same day...
Headband: Urban Outfitters
I ditched the socks as the weather warmed up, and we wound up in Solvang. At this point, the pop of red was most necessary. Solvang sucks, by the way.
The skirt in that first picture is absolutely adorable!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Nordstrom!

What a lovely skirt! Also, now regretting having gotten rid of my denim jackets back in the early 2000s...
ReplyDeleteI want all my jackets from middle school back (not that I can fit them)! I love denim jackets so much I'm often afraid my looks will wander into Canadian tuxedo territory... I go to Forever 21 or H&M for a small denim jacket collection that I won't feel guilty about donating later on.
